Transformers War for Cybertron – Full Reveal Trailer
After the first short trailer was released to the world a couple of weeks back transformers fans went pretty crazy. This game finally looked like something we could sink our teeth into! We caught glimpses of epic battles, we saw Optimus in his cybertronian form chopping robots in half, and then at the end we saw just the shortes hint of something epic, Omega Supreme! It was dark and really didn’t show that much, but now we’ve been given a much more detailed look at this, The War for Cybertron.
We see a pretty awesome desing for Bumblebee, some of the “Seeker” jets, (probably Starscream) and we hear the unmistakable tones of the one true Optimus Prime; Peter Cullen. SadlMegatron doesn’t sound like Frank Welker, but hey… i guess you cant have it all can you? This is still just pre-rendered cut scenes and as such we still have NO clue what the game will play like or even how it will look. But by the time you hit the ned of this bad boy i doubt you’ll really care… because the Decepticon Big-bad is also revealed… The dinosaur based walking CITY himself… TRYPTICON!!!!
The Gameplay i rumored to be based on the Gears of War style of third person shooter, hopefully with the addition of appropriate transformation based levels. There are rumored to be three main playable classes, which could best be described and standard warrior (all-rounder) scout (fast and small) and flyer (giving access to different areas of the levels) however how thi will play out is still a mystery. There are definitely two campaigns however, the Autobots and the Decepticons. Players will play through the Decepticon story intially and finish off on the Autobot story.
