The Expendables – Movie Trailer

The trailer has finally dropped for Stallone’s action-o-rama “think-piece”, The Expendables.

We had Eric Roberts lined up for Supanova Pop Culture Expo a while ago and he pulled out at the last minute to go be in this little film. Could we forgive him for such a thing? Well we had a look at the cast list and realised that we also wanted to be in the film, even as bullet-sponges.

THE EXPENDABLES is a hard-hitting action/thriller about a group of mercenaries hired to infiltrate a South American country and overthrow its ruthless dictator. Once the mission begins, the men realize things aren’t quite as they appear, finding themselves caught in a dangerous web of deceit and betrayal. With their mission thwarted and an innocent life in danger, the men struggle with an even tougher challenge – one that threatens to destroy this band of brothers.

Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Eric Roberts, Randy Couture, Steve Austin, Mickey Rourke, Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny Trejo are in the film. All that was missing is Jackie Chan, JCVD and The Rock but I guess you need to keep some people back for the sequel.

The film opens August 20th 2010 in USA.
