Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen – Full Trailer

Ok its no secret that I’m a massive Transformers fanboy. I’ve even managed to reconcile my partner to the fact, which is no mean feat. Animated has brought me back to the franchise with a VENGEANCE and even though the live action film was pretty mediocre i can’t really whinge too much. As such, is it any surprise that i’m first off the blocks when news of the sequel is out and about?

This trailer has polarized the office, with some of us completely uninterested in the film and others (not who you’d expect!) actually vaguely interested! I however am pretty damn excited! The action looks a lot cleaner and hopefully not shot so close-in, so maybe…just maybe we can see whats happening! The word on the street sounds like maybe Michael Bay may have added some dumb crap in there too, so its not all beer and skittles. We wait with baited breath to see if this one transforms into something worth watching twice! (Unlike the first one.)

Finally we see a bit more of the potential storyline! What do you think? Will it suck? Or should it still be called “Killer death-bots from mars?” Maybe “Killer death-bots from Mars 2: revenge of the fiery killer-more-death-bot… from Saturn.”

    Just for the record, it is “I” that isn’t excited. It looks bigger than the first film but what else is new? The only thing that looks vaguely “WOW” is Optimus wielding those fiery axes.

    I am keeping my excitement away from this one so Mr Bay can surprise me. I have only seen the first film once at the premiere in Sydney and I can safely say that the buzz from doing the red carpet and meeting Michael and the girls was part of that movie going experience. I am afraid if I revisit the first film I will see all the flaws everyone talks about.

    Needless to say, I am hyped for this movie.
    I know a lot of people will hate me for saying this, but here goes…The first movie was what got me interested in transformers (Shock – Horror). Granted, the new Animated Series cemented my fandom, but I wouldn’t have discovered it if it weren’t for the movie.

      i am jazzed. i finally got to check out the showest footage and even that has me somewhat excited. i want big robots i want a decent story and i want it to be comprehensible whats going on in the shot. not too much to ask really…

      i have been a fanboy since G1. they nearly lost me on Beast Wars, and almost got me back with Beast Machines. i lost interest entirely when we went to the Armada (Unicron trilogy) when we had more time and effort spent on transformation sequences than characterisation…

      and Animated is still my beloved… my precious…

      i just hope and pray that Michae Bay has learnt some restraint…
