Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen – Teaser Trailer

Following hot on the heels of the 30 second Superbowl Spot comes this 2 minute long trailer for the BIG budget sequel to 2007′s Transformers. But it really isn’t a trailer as such, its a teaser trailer. Sure it shows a lot of shots of things blowing up and some robots jumping around, but beyond that there is not much new here.

All that said i still can’t wait! In this one we get to see some Bumblebee, some Prime, a bit more of the Power Shovel, “Demolishor” who is NOT Devastator and is in fact only one part of him. (Yes Devastator will be HUGE!!!!) And a tiny bit more of Sam and co. Robert Orci the writer has been pretty open with some of the story points of the film and by all accounts there will be at least 40 robots in the film. Lets just hope they can shoehorn a bit more plot in there too.

What do you think? Will Megatron be back? Will Bumblebee lubricate anyone else? Will we have ANY clue as to what’s going on in the action sequences? Comment and such!

   This trailer doesn’t do much for me. It looks pretty, but I except that. It looks big, which I also expect. I just don’t see anything new or interesting. I know that Qdog and others who are major fans of the original show love seeing other Transformers come to life, but for me being a fan from old memories, all the major ones I wanted to see where in the first film. I think something is wrong when the first thing I say about the trailer is that I like a particular shot but don’t really give two hoots to the rest.

   I am hoping that having this sort of expectation of it being just the same as the first film will give Mr Bay the chance to surprise me.
