Iron Sky Trailer
I know this trailer is a little old, but with the new website up and running I had to post it for anyone that missed it.
Iron Sky is the next film from the team that brought us the brilliant Star Wreck: In the Pirkinning (Listen to our review).
The Story
Towards the end of World War II the staff of SS officer Hans Kammler made a significant breakthrough in anti-gravity.
From a secret base built in the Antarctic, the first Nazi spaceships were launched in late ˜45 to found the military base Schwarze Sonne (Black Sun) on the dark side of the Moon. This base was to build a powerful invasion fleet and return to take over the Earth once the time was right.
Now it’s 2018, the Nazi invasion is on its way and the world is goose-stepping towards its doom.
Doesn’t that sound like fun. I have a really soft spot for silly Nazi movies and this mixes it with Sci-Fi which to me is a winner. Check out the awesome trailer below and jump onto their website and see how the production is coming along. For me, if this gets the 2009 release that has been hinted at, it could be my film of the year (not to count chickens or anything).

It’s a ridiculous 80′s post-apocolyptic/surfer/cyberpunk/nazi B-movie.
Pretty crap but has an awesome poster!!!!
Looks fun, though the bit with the flag unrolled on the moon edged a bit into the creepy factor. Be nice if they paid homage to the Disney ‘toons of the times, which are hard to find, now.
That looks cool!
I love the concept. I hope they do it justice.
