Rise of the Guardians – Movie Trailer

Not a sequel to the Guardians of Ga’Hoole, this looks like a really odd take on all our most beloved anthropomorphic personifications… or as they’re better known; fairy tale characters. Santa (Alec Baldwin), The Easter Bunny (Hugh Jackman), the Tooth Fairy (Isla Fisher) Jack Frost (Chris Pine) and the Sandman all come together in this film to fight a big bad dark evil thing that has the voice of Jude Law.  If tattoo’ed Santa’s and Aussie Easter bunnies with exploding eggs are your thing…then this film may be what you are after.

Synopsis:

When an evil spirit known as Pitch lays down the gauntlet to take over the world, the immortal Guardians must join forces for the first time to protect the hopes, beliefs and imagination of children all over the world. 

Rise of the Guardians will be in 3D theaters on November 21, 2012.

   Looks entertaining, but if they start with the Tinkerbell hard sell “Believe! Or she DIIIIEEEES!!!”, I’ll give this a miss.
