I don’t really collect anything tho I have way too many DVD’s tho I am now getting blu-ray for any new purchases so that’s about all you could say I collect.
Regarding tins I believe I got the Sin City one and a few others. As far as Blu ray goes Band of brothers comes in a tin but considering what’s involved I am not surprised. My copy of Inglorious Basterds also has a tin case.
I actually heard about the Mighty Mouse “snorting cocaine” issue many many yrs ago on a Jello Biafra spoken word album where he discussed it. It was totally bizarre then as it is now when you read about what happened at that link.
I enjoy Dollhouse though I have’t finished watching it yet but I have all episodes ready to go. Same as I love Dexter and haven’t finished that yet either. Too many things to watch and not enough hrs to watch them all.
Dr Who…meh. I haven’t watched any Dr Who even back in Tom Bakers day even when all my friends seemed to enjoy and none of the new series of last 4-5 years. I don’t mind Torchwood and I can maybe see that being transplanted to USA but Dr Who…some people have no shame.
Atkinson is a tool.. agreed ’nuff said on that matter.
12th man is awesome..buy it. You can get them on Amazon, you know what links to click on to purchase them.
3D movies. Avatar is the only 3D movie I have seen and I thought it was a great experience. The things that impressed me about it was the little things like the butterflies and insects flying around the edges of the screen looking like you could swat them away was cool. i just hope it just doesn’t become over used and i am sure it is going to be as Bruce calls it a gimmick to get people in the cinema to see it. I think 3D works great for a film like Avatar but it can’t and won’t work for everything.
I haven’t heard of Being Human, must track it down, sounds cool.
Am I the only person tired of hearing about Spiderman, give it a rest already. Batman Begins and the Dark Knight along with Iron Man are the only good superhero movies to have come out of last 6-7 yrs and will be hard to beat them. Well ok Watchmen as well..duh. Is Hollywood so running out ideas for teens that superhero movies are all they can come up..that and lame ass Adam Sandler movies?
Well enough ranting from me…hope someone else reads this..LOL
