Hellz yeah, I enjoyed it^^ Ya see, now THAT’S (the opening) what I call an “homage”, of sorts. Nicely done. And I was rocking out to Doctor Who, even if it was the newest version. The tiny added bonus of the Thames credit insert was also appreciated.

Me? heh, I’ve many a strong opinion on some shows and movies, which I think has been made crystal clear by this point. I’m no English major, however; nor even minor, for that matter. If you’ll take submissions on anime that’s yet/soon to be licensed for “domestic”, i.e. subbed/dubbed, release, I could see adding my own unique -note: UNIQUE- voice to the chorus you’ve built here. Otherwise, I’m sure someone capable of expressing themselves in more than net speak and profanity could tackle the miscellaneous popular titles far more competently. And when I think of Afro Samurai, it’s mostly profanity that comes to mind, thus my difficulty. One of many, admittedly, but foremost at the moment Xb

i’m amazed that everyone failed on that last song… it even says the name of the series in the song! kinda. the sequels were like the first, short series’…

any ozzie listeners should remember it, but then again i imagine our brit crew will recall it too.

creepy as hell.

and yeah the re-emergence of the living doll in the 80’s was totally due to the Young Ones. definitely a low point in music. LOL

FYI, Cliff Richard’s “Living Doll” first came out in the 60’s, so if it hit the charts again in the 80’s it was definitely due to TheYoung Ones. Then again, anything can hit the British charts. (See also the re-release of Patrick Macnee and Honor Blackman doing “Kinky Boots” that hit the charts in about 1990….that’s how I found it!)

And I was hoping that I’d get the last one from here in the mid-western US, but no such luck. I had a guess lined up until you mentioned that there were sequels. Yay for another soundtrack podcast, though!

Great show guys.

Believe it or not the Cliff Richard “Young Ones” version was the first record I ever convinced my parents to buy me.

Even more bizzare is its available to sing in Noraybang (karaoke) here in Korea. Should give it a whirl with Squeezy next time we are there.
