Transformers World Premiere

On Tuesday Blunty & I traveled to Sydney to see the world premiere of Transformers with Michael Bay, Megan Fox and Rachael Taylor in attendance. We were invited by Paramount to be part of the press and seemed to be the only new media guys there. Nate has quickly posted the Australian Trailer for the film we were given on his extremely popular YouTube account which you can see here:

We got to interview Michael and Rachael on the carpet and then proceeded to go inside ourselves to watch the first full screening of Transformers with an intro by who I think was the Head of Paramount Australia (he didn’t intro himself).

A Review of the Film

Sorry, under review embargo until 23rd. Lets just say there wasn’t tears.

Afterwards we travelled into the city with Daniel from Supanova and crashed the VIP party at the Embassy. Paramount and all the guests were there and we had a great time and drank to the early hours.

Day 2 – The Hangover Press Conference

On Wednesday we were invited to the press conference at the Carriage Works in Redfern. This place was a little strange from the outside and you wouldn’t expect it be hosting something like this. We got set up and gave our questions to the PR guys and then were informed that they would like us to ask the first questions. Very cool! Blunty has all the video of this conference which will be posted soon. The silly thing about the conference was I was the only person to pull a direct audio feed from the desk, none of the other journos wanted to. Their loss… Here are some pics:

All in all we had a great time and would like to thank Network PR and Paramount for inviting us. Stay tuned for more cool stuff to come, in both Blunty3000’s youtube account and (Cool) Shite TV.

Transformers is released on 28th June in Australia and 4th July in USA
