Douglas Cook, David Weisberg to pen Stan Lee project
Douglas Cook and David Weisberg have been tapped to pen “Nick Ratchet,” one of Stan Lee’s POW Entertainment projects set up at Disney. The lighthearted mystery thriller centers on a Jekyll & Hyde struggle between a meek, ineffectual police officer and his online alter-ego, a tough avatar cop named Nick Ratchet who emerges from inside a video game to usurp the life of his creator.

Is Fox Rebooting Daredevil?
The blog for the Los Angeles-based store Golden Apple Comics reported that “Battlestar Gallactica” star Katee Sackhoff went there to buy every single comic featuring Typhoid Mary she could get her hands on with “hopes to get a part for a marvel movie.”

Marvel Confirms Tom Hiddleston as Loki!
Marvel Studios announced today that Tom Hiddleston has been cast to play the villain Loki in the studio’s highly anticipated movie THOR. Kenneth Branagh will direct the film penned by Mark Protosevich and Ashley Miller & Zak Stentz.

What will it take to get Robert Downey Jr. in Cowboys and Aliens?

Writer/producers Alex Kurtzman and Robert Orci have spoken with Iron Man Robert Downey Jr. about starring in Cowboys and Aliens, but that getting him on board depends on his schedule. Cowboys and Aliens is based on the Platinum Comics graphic novel written by Fred Van Lente and Andrew Foley. Set in the mid-1800s in Arizona, it deals with an invasion by an extraterrestrial species with plans to enslave humanity, but cowboys and native Apache have other plans.
