Fox International is in talks to produce a live-action movie based on “Paradise Kiss,” by top female manga artist Ai Yazawa. The series involves a teen girl who is seduced into becoming a catwalk model by a group of charismatic fashion students. Having fallen for the elite group’s leader, she has to balance school, home, a new modeling career and a burgeoning love life.

Oni’s ‘The Leading Man’ Screenplay Nearing Completion, Says Creator
“The Leading Man” comic from writer B. Clay Moore and artist Jeremy Haun, is a comic wherein the world’s greatest actor is also the world’s greatest spy. “Universal renewed ['The Leading Man'] option last year, and there is talent being recruited as we speak,” Moore told MTV News. “Universal has kept a lid on some of the details, but things look promising as of now.”

His modern-day Frankenstein story “Wake the Dead,” however, is facing some snags as its character designers find themselves occupied with the “Hobbit” films. “We were kind of racing against time a little with WETA because they’re about to take on ‘The Hobbit’ and God knows that’s going to consume all of New Zealand for the next five years.”
