Undead was a funky little independant zombie horror film that caught a lot of folks off guard and made back its meager million dollar budget and it lead the two film-makers to being “discovered”. Now their follow up film Daybreakers is getting ready to burst bloodily onto the scene and the two directors, The Spierig Brothers will be in town to talk abot that film, their history and whats coming next.
here is the official word on the event which is coming up VERY VERY SOON.
A Blood Soaked Weekend.
Les enfants terribles twins, Peter and Michael Spierig, Directors of the cult classic Undead and the new vampire thriller Daybreakers, and Ben Nott ACS, Director of photography of Daybreakers and ACS Cinematographer of the Year 2008, will be appearing in Hobart on Saturday the 22nd of August at the Philip Smith Centre (2 Edward St, The Glebe) for a one-off event organised by the Tasmanian branch of the Australian Cinematographers Society.
