The Amazing Spider-man – Trailer 2

Amazing spider-man poster-xlarge

The road from Spider-man 3 to this new Amazing Spider-man has been a long and confusing one with many people unsure as to why were were even making the journey. Was the Spider-man brand so badly damaged by the last Raimi film that they had to reboot?  Is this all to bring things in line with the Marvel Cinematic Universe? Why are we doing this?!  Until recently i was convinced it was a bad move but now the trailers are coming out and i think that this new take on the wallcrawler may be just what the doctor ordered. Doc Ock that is! Check it out true believers!

Synopsis

Like most teenagers his age, Peter [played by Andrew Garfield] is trying to figure out who he is and how to be the person he is today. In his journey to put the pieces of his past together he uncovers a secret that his father [Campbell Scott] held… a secret that will ultimately shape his destiny as Spider-Man. This is the first in a series of movies that tells a different side of the Peter Parker story.
