The Three Musketeers 2011 – Movie Trailer

musketeers poster

I was hardly even aware that this film was going into production, let alone it’s cast or premise… and whats more i really didn’t much care. The last Three Musketeers film was fine, but essentially underwhelming so why go for a remake now? Admittedly upon reflection the last three Musketeers movie was actually made in 1993 so, there is a pretty large number of folks who may never have seen it and it makes some sense to put Orblando in a film like this now before he gets too old to wear the beard beleivably. But thats said, when you actually see this trailer you’ll come to understand that this is not the Charlie Sheen/Keifer Sutherland Three Musketeers! This is a crazy “steampunk” inspired retelling which seems to have more in common with “Van Helsing” than the Bryan Adams music backed tour de force of the last century. Ah screw it, go check it out!

Synopsis

The hot-headed young D’Artagnan (Logan Lerman) joins forces with three rogue Musketeers (Matthew MacFadyen, Luke Evans and Ray Stevenson) in this reboot of Alexandre Dumas’ story. They must stop the evil Richlieu (Christoph Waltz) and face off with Buckingham (Orlando Bloom) and the treacherous Milady (Milla Jovovich). The action adventure is given a state of the art update in 3-D.
