Clash of the Titans – Movie Trailer

Sam Worthington’s star is pretty clearly on the rise these days!  He’s come a long way from the brickies laborer in Western Australia, now topping the billing on at least two of the really big films of this year and by the looks of it, one of the biggest of 2010 as well! He was Terminated in Salvation and made us all believe in smurfs again in Avatar but in Clash of the Titans he’s got them all beat!  He’s a Demi-god!

A remake of the old 1981 fantasy epic which featured some of the greatest stop motion monsters ever seen on screen thanks to Ray Harryhausen, this version of ‘Titans is a CGI-fest of giant scorpions, angry giant turtles and a bunch of what i can only assume are harpies.  And precisely 100% less Harry Hamlin than the original.

Is Sam Worthington’s close cropped hair and muscleboy looks going to bring in the ladies? Will there be enough big monsters and cool fights to make sure the lads stay awake too?  What do you think?
