Yatterman – Trailer

It’s no secret that I love Takashi Miike’s films. He has the right amount of over the top, weird and plain fun in most of his 15 billion film projects that he has released. Yatterman is Miike’s second big attempt at doing a film for kids/young adults, the first being the insanely cool The Great Yokai Wars (listen to our review). The review from the world premeire at New York Comic Con latest week seem to be all positive and this gives me hope for a western release sooner rather than later.

Basic description from NYCC website

Yatterman is the story of two teenagers who run a super, high-tech toy shop which serves as a cover for their crime-busting exploits as Yatterman, a pair of masked super heroes who pilot the sentient dog robot.

I saw this trailer last week on an anime blog site.

I was going to suggest it for you but I wasn’t sure if you would want a trailer totally in japanese. (i.e. no subtitles or anything.)

I am so looking forward to this movie.
