Why must everything be remade?....... hopefully it will be completely forgotten when it finally is made. It'll be a generic drama with Naomi Watts or Kare Winslet in the lead which no one will care about, unless the Director of Photography keeps playing with the lights, to which then we'll have another argument on recording.... Speaking of Christian Bale, I recommend people look into director Werner Herzog and actor Klaus Kinski. Bale pales in utter comparison to Kinski. For years after their first film together, Aguirre Wrath of God, people gossiped that Herzog directed Kinski with a loaded rifle aimed at him. On Fitzcarraldo, some of the natives who starred in the film (the film was set in and located in Peru) asked Herzog if he wanted Kinski killed, and the only reason he didn't say yes was because he needed to finish the film.
