You may know or not know this, and since you briely mentioned the Oscars, Kirk Lazarus has been nominated for Best Supporting Actor for Tropic Thunder….f**k me sideways…

  2. GalacticPenguin GalacticPenguin says:

I didn’t have that much of a crai about it, just a small grump.

But i’m working on my pilot review now

If my post surprised anyone, here is a link to the full Oscar nominations: -

Look at the Best Supporting Actor section for Robert Downey Jr. It is all true.

On another topic from the News show, I’m surprised my username ended up being used as an innuendo. The name came from when I first sent an email to the show when the hosts started making references to 3rd Rock From the Sun. I knew my username would lead to erection jokes, but it looks like I’ve got to find another one if this continues (no offence). If anyone would like to suggest any be my guest. I was thinking of Mike the Elusive Keyboard Monkey. Any good?

    • Bruce Moyle Bruce Moyle says:

Actually except for us taking the piss in the show (only remember doing that once), I generally get Invader Zim-esk thoughts about your name.

But that is my mixed up strange mind.

Mike the Big, Giant Brain? Practically the same thing.

  5. Mike the Big, Giant Head Mike the Big, Giant Head says:

Mike the Big, Giant Brain then? Practically the same thing.

Woops, sorry for posting it twice. Damn my computer!

  7. Jon Hammer Genuwine Jon Hammer says:

Thanks for playing both my emails guys, by the way just to let you guys know I will still be in college for a few more years, but I am definitely interested in programming in another country (not that I hate america or anything.). Also will the rest of the crew return at some point?

    • Bruce Moyle Bruce Moyle says:

In regards to rest of the crew coming back. It’s always in a state of flux. Rdon will come on if he is in town. Triple B is the same. Chris will join us as time permits and Dion is like where’s Woldo (you just never know). In regards to crew in the new show, not as like to see old crew on them as we do them on weekdays.

  8. Jon Hammer Genuwine Jon Hammer says:

Cool, I do miss the old days, but I think with the new format having less people works better. I mean the old show was really long, but I think that was because everyone had their own ideas and wanted to get out their opinion. Less people means a shorter episode, so at least there is a good side.

  9. David Quinn Q-Dog says:

you trying to say we talk to much hammer?

yeah, it would be lovely to have a big re-union at some point. and it will probably be the Brisbane Supanova, or maybe the melbourne, though we wouldn’t have R-don.

its always nice when voices come back, but we continue on regardless.

as to dion, he’s very where’s wally (in australia he’s wally.) but he’s a giggle so we let him off.

    • Jon Hammer Genuwine Jon Hammer says:

Not at all, but if you look at the length of the shows, it would be much shorter with less people. Simple math, (I miss simple arithmetic) I must say I am going to miss the old CSTV, at least the first couple. The production values were pretty awesome. Sorry if I keep bringing up the past, but all of this transition is great for reflection. By the way, have you guys ever thought of doing a best of show?

  10. Trey Trey says:

Could you guys provide links to the stories you cover in the show notes? I wanted to see that Transformers toy and thought you guys might have a link but you don’t. I’m having a bit of trouble trying to find it. Just a little constructive feedback to help out the site.

    Thanks!
