I agree with most of your points/opinions regarding the film but ultimately I liked it. I enjoyed Looper for what it is. Even if it was, at times, flawed.

What people seem to get confused about is that this is also a comedy. If you haven’t laughed within the first 10 mins, then you better walk out right now, because the movie is exactly the same all through out. I was laughing all the way through it. This movie is just bizarre. One of the most bizarre Horror/Comedies i’ve ever watched in my life, is fact, the most bizarre Horror/Comedy i’ve watched in my life.

Don’t be expecting any scary scenes or anything suspenseful, because this is the wrong movie for you.

The acting was great, well written, well directed and excellent comedy one-liners and with the best twist i’ve ever seen! This movie is exactly where it needs to be, it’s a cult movie. It’s “EXACTLY” what it should be. I’m part of the cult following! A cult classic and the best movie i’ve seen of 2012! If you are a Horror (over the top violence) mixed in with comedy fan, I 110% recommend this one! 10/10

I found myself thinking “Gee Batman, you’re being a dick” for most of it.. but apart from that I enjoyed it.

Nathan Fillion as Green Lantern was awesome, and it was good to hear the familiar voices of Alexis Denisof and Claudia Black.

Similarly, for every boy who enjoys a game like Lollypop Chainsaw, there is more than likely going to be a girl who is similarly able to enjoy the game on its own terms without worrying about it as being representational of some kind of patriarchal agenda, or being anti-feminist or whatever.

don’t get me worng there is another part of me that thinks this is fucking hilarious and is a post modern and self aware as Buffy was in its initial incarnation. but there is something so tawdry about the hyper sexualization of the thing that it feels dirty.

I will say this,that even though there are some cameos that make you think that it is a prequel to Singer’s first movie,I would argue that it indeed is not,and was not intended to be.

Best comic movie since The Dark Knight,imo,and I can’t wait to see where Mathew Vaughn goes from here with it.

I think that if FOX plays it’s cards right,they could possibly have a bigger hit than what Marvel is doing with The Avengers,because so far,this movie blows Thor,and both Ironman movies out of the water.

The last series had a pretty impressive plot, but it looks like this one is going to blow last season out of the water! I cannot wait
