This is probably no real surprise to regular hunters of SCI-fi news but the next season of the exceptional new version of Battlestar Galactica begins airing in the U.S. on the 15th of July… not soon enough as far as i am concerned…

and aintitcool news has posted a bit of info on a possible battlestar galactica movie. its a good time to be a geek.

They have cancel Carnivale.. I am very pissed about that. They could at least finish the story, even a movie would do it.

They state here that they believe the show came to a natural end.. I would asked one question of them… “did they watch any of it, especially the end of session 2?”.

Yet another brillient and thought provoking show scraped by stupid management and bad publicity.

I hope that the show is allowed to picked up by another channel or something to keep it going.

I shall now go and cry for all our loss.

gallifreyone.com has reported that Billy Piper (Rose Tyler/Doctor Who) is to appear in the third series of Little Britain as the arch-nemesis of ultra-chav, Vickey Pollard. The story has also been reported on Yahoo.com.

Look for more casting announcements soon, with Tom Baker set to appear in Doctor Who as the Doctor’s elderly, yet somehow familiar, companion.

Okay, that last bit might be a lie.
